Professor Steve Solosky first visited the Normandy Invasion Beaches in 1998.  Since then, he has been back many times as a solo traveler.  He has brought hundreds of travelers to the D-Day Beaches with his tour company, The Traveling Professor.  The National D-Day Memorial and The Gary Sinise Foundation have selected The Traveling Professor to operate tours to Normandy to benefit these prestigious organizations.

Steve holds the title of Professor Emeritus from the State University of New York.  He is the author of "The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris" and co-author of "The Traveling Professor's Guide to Florence".  He plans to publish "The Traveling Professor's Guide to Visiting the Normandy Invasion Beaches" in 2020. 

The Professor has been featured in print, on radio, and at consumer travel shows to talk about the heroes of Normandy.
